New Music Friday is back around again with a new album from Bobby Alu, + new releases from Polish Club, Dena Amy, Austin Mackay and florian!
florian - Delusional Girl
Up first we’ve got “Delusional Girl” by florian . What started as a voice memo that was recorded when florian was stuck in LA traffic, has turned into an energetic, unapologetic 2000’s vibe, pop banger. This track is the perfect energy boost to start your Friday.
Polish Club - Manila
“Manila” gives us a glimpse into Polish Cubs psyche. Written whilst swelling with emotion about being away from home and reflecting on moments. Giving us a chance to do the same, with driving guitars and synths creating the perfect atmosphere.
Dena Army - Classy
Next up is the new release “Classy” from Melbourne artist Dena Army. This track is about deciding to stay, to stay here and to say goodbye to negativity. With driving grooves and ambient production, “Classy” serves as a reminder to keep your head up.
Austin Mackay - Hearts on Fire
Up next, we have “Hearts on Fire” by Austin Mackay. This track was written whilst Austin thought up a fictional story of a middle aged couple falling out of love. With lyrics hitting to close to home, and thick, somber production this track will surely let out the waterworks.
Bobby Alu - Usually An Avalanche
And finally, we’ve got “Usually An Avalanche” off of Bobby Alu’s latest album “Keep it Tropical”. This track offers a safe place to reminisce on memories and the impact of them. With the pretty production and lyrics, this song is perfect to sit and chill too.
