Official Artists Channels or OAC unites an artist’s full body of work and merges subscribers under one channel which they, their label or manager can control. Essentially, it combines your ‘Topic Channel’ which houses your distributed music and your ‘Personal Channel' which artist teams create to house Music Videos, Shorts etc.

Requirements for an OAC

‍

To be eligible for an OAC, artists must meet the following requirements:

1. Own and operate a single artist’s or band’s YouTube Channel that is focused on the artist’s or band’s music. 
2. Have at least 2 official music release on YouTube that has been delivered and distributed by a Music Distributor (GYROstream) or Label
3. Your channel complied with all YouTube policies including YouTube’s Community Guidelines, Terms of Service and Copyright policies

And at least one of the following:

• Work with a YouTube Partner Manager
• Be part of the YouTube Partner Program
• Be part of a label network that works with a YouTube Partner Manager
• Your music is distributed by a music partner listed in the YouTube Services Directory for Music Partners 

How to Apply for an OAC:

In short, If you have 2x releases distributed through GYROstream and have a YouTube channel with at least 1 official Music Video. Reach out to our support team via support@gyrostream.com and we’ll request the OAC on your behalf.

• Spotlight Video - this is the first video content visitors will encounter on your page. (Usually latest music video)

• OAC content is prioritized over all else; topic channel, 3rd party and VEVO
